Reuter Children's Center 5th Anniversary

We're five years old!  No, please don't bring a present to our party.  You can join the party by giving the gift of health to the children of Western North Carolina with a charitable donation.

The party began in June 2006 when the community donated $11 million and Mission Children's Reuter Outpatient Center opened to serve children with chronic illnesses and injuries.  Those gifts have had a lasting effect.  Last year alone, there were over 56,000 visits to Reuter Outpatient Center by children and teens with diagnoses ranging from cystic fibrosis, autism, child abuse, sickle cell anemia and cancer, just to name a few.

What makes Mission Children's Hospital so important to these kids are the pediatric specialists and subspecialists who care for them.  These clinicians come from the best medical schools and hospitals from across the country to work at Mission.  Almost as important to the children's families is that fact that at Mission Children's we don't turn away children if they can't afford to pay or have no insurance.  So please, help us celebrate and keep the party for kid's health going.  That's the most important present we could wish for this birthday and all the birthdays to come!
