Ambassador Program

Mission's Ambassador Program offers participants an opportunity to gain valuable insight and knowledge into the quality and availability of healthcare in Western North Carolina.

The program, which involves a commitment of approximately 15 hours over a four month period, provides an "insiders view" of Mission Hospital through presentations by our
CEO and Leadership Team along with in-depth tours of the hospital campuses led by various physicians, clinicians and department directors.

Mission's size, scope and reach touch hundreds of thousands of lives each year. We continuously strive to stay on the leading edge, implement new technology and update our facilities to serve the needs of our growing community.
Whether you are new to the area or a longtime resident, we invite you to join us and deepen your understanding of Mission Hospital, the region's major medical center and one of the nation's Top 100 Hospitals.

As an Ambassador you will have input, involvement and pride in building upon Mission's 124-year tradition of service to
Western North Carolina.  Each Ambassador acts as a representative of Mission Hospital in our community and helps to build relationships that encourage involvement and investment.

"Mission Hospital is one of our region's most valuable assets and is often one of our region's best kept secrets
," said Mission Healthcare Foundation Trustee Bonnie Spradling. "Ambassadors can share their newly acquired knowledge with their peers, colleagues, civic organizations and others, and take an active role in advocating for the health of our citizens."
