Children and teens need distractions and activities wile they are hospitalized or undergoing hours long therapy as an outpatient. Toys, crafts and DVDs are simple ways to help these patients forget their illnesses for a short time.
Gifts of new toys, electronics and clothing can make a hospital stay and going home a little brighter for children who come to Mission Children's Hospital for inpatient and outpatient services. The following lists are items that our families need or that we know from experience are very popular with children and teens.
Our patient population speaks many languages and represents many races and ethnicities. Books in Spanish, Russian and Ukranian, in addition to English are welcome. Dolls that represent different races are also encouraged.
