Mission Healthcare Foundation, Inc. (the "Foundation")  Privacy Policy,  Disclaimer of Liability, and Terms of Use Agreement

The content of the Foundation website (hereinafter the "Site") may not be reproduced, copied, redistributed, quoted or retransmitted by any means without the express written approval and permission . of the Foundation.   As a user of this site you are bound by all domestic and international copyright laws. The content contained herein is provided for informational purposes only. Neither the Foundation,  Mission Health, Inc., Mission Hospital, Inc. nor any of their respective affiliates or subsidiaries (collectively, the "Mission Companies") makes any warranties of any kind regarding the material presented in the Foundation Site. Further, the Mission Companies assume no responsibility for errors or omissions in the information provided on the Site and shall not be liable for damages resulting from the use of such information.  The User's viewing and/or use of the Site and/or any submission of information in such viewing or use of the Site shall constitute his/her agreement to the terms and conditions contained within this Privacy Policy, Disclaimer of Liability, and Terms of Use Agreement.

The Site contains numerous links to websites that are neither owned nor controlled by the Mission Companies. The Mission Companies do not endorse nor are they responsible for the contents of such websites. The Mission Companies do not assume any responsibility or liability for any occurrence or outcome resulting from any interaction with such websites. 

Privacy Policy

The Foundation has created this Privacy Policy to explain how and why we collect information from Users of the Site and how the Foundation will protect your personal privacy within the Site. This Agreement discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices for the Site.

In order to fully understand your rights, we encourage you to read this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Agreement. The Foundation reserves the right at any time and without notice to change this Privacy Policy by posting such changes on our Site. Any such change will be effective immediately upon posting.

Because we want to demonstrate our commitment to your privacy, this Privacy Policy notifies you of:

1. What, if any, personally identifiable information of yours is collected through the Site; 
2. Who collects such information; 
3. How such information is used and stored; 
4. With whom your information may be shared; 
5. What choices you have regarding collection, use and distribution of your information; 
6. What kind of security procedures are in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under our control; and,

What Information We Collect and How We Use That Information: 

Our voluntary registration forms require Users to give us contact information that may include name, email address, format preference (HTML vs. Text), residential address, interests, and similar information.  We do not request or store sensitive information from our Users such as social security numbers.  We do have a secure online donation capability and use a secure method for credit card payments. Credit card numbers  are never stored and the  donation process is completed through a secured Verisign site.  

We will never share or sell any personal information with any non-Mission company or other third-party organization and will only use such information for purposes of permission-based communication with the User and/or to facilitate the online donation process using the aforementioned secure process.

Internet Protocol Address: 

We collect an IP address from all visitors to our Site. An IP address is a number that is automatically assigned to your computer when you use the Internet. We use IP addresses to help diagnose problems with our server, administer our Site, analyze trends, track users' movement within the Site, to gather broad demographic information for aggregate use in order for us to improve the site, and to deliver customized, personalized content. IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.

Use of "Cookies": 

Our Site may use cookies to enhance your experience while using our Site. Cookies are pieces of information that some  websites transfer to the computer that is browsing the website  and are used for record-keeping purposes at many websites. Use of cookies makes web-surfing easier by performing certain functions such as allowing you to save  passwords and/or your personal preferences regarding the  use of the particular website and to allow you to see different information displays while using the website.  Many consider the use of cookies to be an industry standard.

All information provided to the Foundation is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that lets your browser automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before you send it to us. We also protect any account information by placing it on a secure portion of our Site that is only accessible by certain qualified employees of Mission Healthcare Foundation. Unfortunately, however, no data transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee, ensure or warrant the security of such information.

Tell-A-Friend: 

If a User elects to use our referral service for informing a friend about our Site, we ask the User for the friend's name and email address. The Foundation will automatically send the friend a one-time email inviting them to visit the Site. The Foundation stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this one-time email.

Other Non-Mission Web Sites: 

Our Site contains links to other websites. Please note that when you click on one of these links, you are entering a different website for which the  Foundation and/or the Mission Companies  have no responsibility,  control, or ability to monitor. We encourage you to read the privacy statements on all such websites as the privacy and other policies may be different than ours.
