Campaign Pillars
Mission Foundation is launching a new campaign that promises ongoing improvements to hospital services that will benefit the health and wellbeing of western North Carolina. This campaign is made up of five pillars: Children’s & Women’s, Cancer & Genetics, Heart, Population Health, and Academics & Innovation. The programs within each pillar will address access, innovation, and advocacy that will make the region a healthier place to live and a model for effective, patient-centered care.
It is our goal that everyone in the region, no matter where they live, will have access to the excellent healthcare they deserve. In order to continue bringing better physicians, specialists, and services to the area, Mission Health is making research, innovation, and teaching a priority. The new Center for Primary Care Innovation will give physicians time and an infrastructure to create and test new cutting-edge treatments. Residency programs focus on primary care and public health in western North Carolina with the goal of inspiring new physicians to work in rural areas. Everyone is working to improve patient experiences and outcomes.
A healthy population is key to building a strong, connected community. Mission Health is a tireless advocate for such a community, and we will be offering prevention programs that promote health, wellness, and early detection of disease to urban, rural, and underserved people.
