April 28th Packing Event Goal is 300,000 Meals!

The chapter will package its millionth meal during the upcoming, annual Rotarians Against Hunger event.  The Rotary Clubs of Western North Carolina, along with MANNA FoodBank and Kids Against Hunger, will hold this all day packaging event on April 28th, 2012, at the Reuter YMCA in Biltmore Town Square.  Last year, 800 volunteers packaged over 200,000 meals at the event.  The goal this year is to package 300,000 meals! 

More than 800 volunteers will be needed to accomplish this goal. Volunteers can sign up by emailing [email protected].    For more information, or to make a donation, please visit rotariansagainsthunger.org.  Donations go toward the $45,000 cost for ingredients that are needed to provide 300,000 meals.
